What a gem! This 1957 Fender Precision Bass is just insane, in the classic Two Tone Sunburst finish with anodised pickguard! This bass is all original apart from the pickup wire, it is cloth but unusual to see green cloth wiring. It oozes character, the anodised pickguard has worn nicely around the thumb rest. Both original Stackpole pots date to the 32nd week in 1957 as can be seen from the pot codes. The original owner of this bass in 1957 played in the Texas Swing band "The Midnight Ramblers". It's in very good condition for its age and has expected signs of use throughout that can be seen in the photos, some great lacquer checking throughout. Everything works as it should including trussrod, electronics. Included is a non original hardcase. The original chrome pickup and bridge cover are both included.
