• Most products are available for testing on demand in the showroom in Warsaw.
• Every customer in Europe is entitled to a 30-day return policy. This option doesn't cover customers abroad EU.

The ASM Diosynth is the first non-Hydrasynth instrument from Ashun Sound Machines — an expressive wind synthesizer that puts the power of the award-winning Hydrasynth engine into the hands (and breath) of wind players. Diosynth is an all-new wind synthesizer that combines the familiar tactile feel of a woodwind instrument with an expressive and advanced synthesis engine. It combines a deep synthesis engine with a sample playback engine to blend the best of acoustic and electronic sounds. Designed with wind players in mind, Diosynth features mechanical keys that replicate the feel of real sax and wind instruments — avoiding the flat, button-style controls found on other wind synths — while its Hydrasynth-based sound engine, enhanced with multi-sample playback, offers endless possibilities for sound creation and design.

Key elements of its design:

• Hydrasynth-Powered Hybrid Engine The sound engine is based on ASM's renowned Hydrasynth with the addition of a sample playback oscillator. Users can blend realistic acoustic instruments — like a Harmon-muted trumpet or Peruvian bamboo flute — with Hydrasynth's wavescan oscillators, all processed through a 16-mode filter to create rich hybrid tones. The signal path offers up to 7 simultaneous sound generators.
• Layer & Split Two Sounds Diosynth can layer or split two sounds at once, combining up to four Hydrasynth wavescan oscillators and two sample-based voices simultaneously for highly expressive, complex patches.
• 128 Meticulously Sampled Instruments ASM has meticulously sampled 128 unique reed, brass, fipple, and string-based sounds, including rare and exotic instruments such as the contrabass flute, Eb Tubax, and Peruvian llama whistle.
• Authentic Mechanical Keywork Multiple fingering modes, scale/key locking, and octave keys covering over eight octaves provide a familiar and versatile playing experience, with true mechanical key action that eases the transition from acoustic to electronic instruments.
• Deep Expressive Control For expression, Diosynth includes breath and bite sensors, an internal gyroscope for motion control, an X/Y joystick, two pressure pads, and three programmable switches — giving life and nuance to every note.
• Large Patch Library It ships with 384 factory patches and supports 768 total patch locations (6 banks of 128), covering everything from traditional saxophones, trumpets, and flutes to synth leads, basses, and tempo-synced electronic textures.
• Extensive Connectivity Connectivity includes ¼" stereo output and headphone jack (both with dedicated volume controls), MIDI DIN In/Out, USB MIDI & Audio In/Out, Bluetooth MIDI In/Out, and Bluetooth audio-in for playing along with music streams. A companion Mac/PC editor and iOS/Android app streamline patch editing and live performance control.

Reviewing the launch, MusicRadar noted that what makes ASM's wind synth interesting is that its sound engine is, in part, based on the excellent sound generation tools of the Hydrasynth — letting users combine four of the Hydrasynth's wavescan oscillators with two sample playback oscillators, all feeding through a 16-mode filter to create layered and split sounds.
