This Hosco Unbleached Bone Gibson Style Acoustic Saddle is a great option to replace or upgrade saddles on their adjustable bridge acoustic guitars (the ADJ bridge was used from the late '50s to early '70s on their J-45, J-50, Hummingbird and other guitars).

Bone is the traditional material used for nuts and saddles and these are unbleached bone which is harder than bleached making it ideal as a saddle material, shaping is more precise on the harder material and there's better transfer between the strings and the soundboard. This bone saddle will give you a more traditional acoustic sound over the vintage ceramic saddle many find to be too bright.
