This is the highly sought-after first version, hand-built in the USA featuring a traditional through-hole component circuit board, distinct from later SMD surface-mount factory revisions. This unit was manufactured on July 09, 2012, as verified by the original factory-printed label on the box. Serial Number: 12-T57-JS00579 Technical & Cosmetic Specifications:Circuitry: 100% original, un-modified early circuit board explicitly marked "Tweed '57 2-12". All original through-hole components, wiring, and solder joints are fully intact. Controls: Volume, Gain, Bass, Middle, and Treble knobs, alongside a 3-way Input Simulator toggle switch (Normal, Bright, Linked). Enclosure: Original gold/mustard powder coat finish. Features top-mounted DC power jack and side-mounted audio jacks. The bottom plate is completely clean with four factory rubber feet installed (no velcro has ever been applied). Power Supply: Functions via a standard 9V DC center-negative power supply or a standard 9V battery. The internal battery clip is verified fully functional.
