About this listing
Here it is the modern take on a golden-era classic: the Martin HD-28, straight from the Standard Series and factory-fresh in its Natural gloss finish. If you're looking for that big, bold dreadnought tone with all the vintage mojo and none of the vintage headaches, this is your guy.Built with a solid Sitka spruce top and East Indian rosewood back and sides, the HD-28 delivers that iconic boom, shimmer, and low-end presence that put the D-28 family on the map. The forward-shifted scalloped X-bracing lets the top breathe and thump just right open, articulate, and powerful, whether you're flatpicking or fingerpicking.Martin's Modified Low Oval neck with High Performance Taper makes it a dream to play, especially for those used to faster modern necks. Bone nut and saddle, ebony fingerboard and bridge, and vintage-style open-gear tuners tie it all together with timeless appointments and pro-level reliability. This is the real deal dread, built in Nazareth, PA, ready to age beautifully and sing for decades. As is standard practice with any new arrival in store, this very cool Martin has been through the trusted hands of our team in our onsite workshop to ensure it is in tip-top shape for its new home and owner! We are an appointment-only store. All instruments are handled by Motomusic employees only.We are always happy to consider quality part exchange instruments here.Fast WORLDWIDE Shipping Available! Please contact us for more details.
