In addition to the full-length maple-walnut neck in the pleasantly flat "Wizard III" profile and body wings with a chic poplar burl top, the Premium RGT1221PB-DTF guitar has powerful DiMarzio pickups with dyna-MIX10 circuitry, which deliver crystal-clear cleans as well as juicy overdrive and distortion sounds on the guitar amplifier. The premium RGT1221PB-SWL Stained Wine Red Low Gloss guitar also features Ibanez monorail bridges and Gotoh locking tuners. Neck-through guitar with excellent handlingThanks to the elaborate neck-through construction and the proven RG design, the RGT1221PB guitar offers a powerful sound and excellent playing characteristics. The heart of the electric guitar is undoubtedly the full-length, seven-piece neck made of maple and walnut wood, whose flat "Wizard III profile" creates the best conditions for butter-soft playability. Jumbo stainless steel frets on the ebony fingerboard also promise butter-soft bendings, while large block inlays and fluorescent side dots mark the layers. The DiMarzio Air Norton humbucker in the neck position delivers a deep and warm sound with the perfect amount of transparency for glassy cleans and singing overdrive. At the bridge, on the other hand, the DiMarzio The Tone Zone pickup provides juicy distortion sounds that can be perfectly shaped via the playing style thanks to the dynamic response. In addition to the usual sustain options of the 5-way switch, additional timbres can be called up via the Alter switch between the volume and tone controls.
