This is one of the more striking finish options from this era, with a highly figured maple top that really comes alive under different lighting.This example has received a couple of excellent upgrades that move it toward a more traditional Les Paul configuration. The original pickups have been replaced with a pair of 2025 Gibson Custombuckers with cream bobbins, and the factory electronics have been replaced with a high-quality Emerson pre-wired harness. The result is a straightforward, traditional Les Paul control layout without the push/pull functions found on the original 2018 Standard electronics. The Custombuckers and Emerson harness are both premium, desirable upgrades and make for a particularly nice combination in this guitar.Additional changes include replacement knobs and strap-lock style strap buttons. None of the original removed parts are included.Condition is Solid Very Good overall. The figured top is exceptionally clean and presents beautifully. The back shows a fair amount of typical player wear, primarily worming, scratching and buckle/pants wear, which is best illustrated in the photos. There are also the normal light handling and clearcoat marks associated with a played instrument. Overall, it remains a very attractive guitar and presents beautifully.The neck has a distinctly slim, tapered feel, measuring approximately .800” at the 1st fret and .865” at the 12th, making this a great choice for players who prefer the slimmer end of the Les Paul neck spectrum.
