About this listing
Amazing and stunning vintage all black fretless Jazz Bass Special in mint conditions for a 40yr-old bass!!! All original and excellent condition. Made in the golden era for Japanese Fenders. I know it is crazy but google: "FENDER 1980's Vintage "F" Logo Knobs" Just the three knobs sell for ~$200!!!It also has the original TBX tone control. Which is really, really nice. One of the very best fretless basses that I have ever played with a super fast J bass-like neck. Beautiful P bass sounds complemented with the J bridge pickup. Wonderful altogether.I upgraded the bridge and I added a Hipshot detuner on the E string. But I will include the original bridge and tuner machine.
