The guitar started life as Fender's Aztec Gold American Original — one of the most striking colors in the modern Fender palette — and has since been professionally reliced and dressed in gold hardware throughout, transforming it into something that looks like it's been on stage for 50 years.Please note: The relic work is non-factory and the hardware has been replaced with gold — all Fender original parts. Both are disclosed fully and shown clearly in the photos.The result is a guitar with serious visual character. Heavy paint checking and wear on the body reveals the wood beneath in all the right places, the neck has aged to a beautifully worn feel, and the gold hardware ties the whole look together perfectly.
