Overview
Danelectro's Cool Cat line of pedals were highly affordable versions of then-new boutique favorites. The Transparent Overdrive had a clone of the legendary Paul Cochrane Timmy circuit. The pedal community outcry was such that Danelectro ended up changing the design in later versions, but you can still find this timeless low-gain overdrive-preamp in V1 versions of the Transparent Overdrive.
