About this listing
Early V1 Slant 6V, Carr's lower-wattage version built around a 6V6 power section. Think of it as two classic amps in one: a beautiful black-panel Deluxe Reverb-inspired clean channel paired with a Marshall JMP-inspired drive channel. The clean channel delivers the big, three-dimensional tones Carr is known for, with excellent pedal compatibility and exceptional touch response. Switch to the drive channel and the amp moves into classic British territory with rich harmonics, sustain, and surprising punch from a 6V6 platform.Like all Carr amplifiers, the build quality is outstanding. The amp is handwired in the USA and built to an exceptionally high standard. The V1 version has earned a loyal following for its vintage-leaning American voice while still offering plenty of gain when needed.FeaturesEarly V1 Slant 6VHandwired in the USA40-watt 6V6 power sectionBlack-panel Deluxe Reverb-inspired clean channelJMP-inspired drive channelTube reverbAll stockFully functionalConditionVery clean overall with only minimal cosmetic wear.
