Here is a cool modified Japanese pawnshop Polaris 1. These were made by Guyatone and branded under Kent for the US market and are much rarer than their two pup Polaris II big brothers. This one is original aside from the pup which has been upgraded to a mini humbucker and a metal bridge to replace the useless bone bridges these came with. It plays well and has low action. There are a few scuffs but nothing serious. The neck is straight and the frets are good. You get a hot pickup, a volume knob and a bad attitude. That's it. It's a trashy little surf/garage rocker.
