The Fender Vintage Custom ’57 Precision Bass electric bass represents a key design that has carried the imaginary torch of bass guitars for many years - whether on stages or on famous studio recordings. The Vintage Custom 57 Precision Bass Time Capsule Fiesta Red is a contemporary model from the Fender Custom Shop workshops that authentically embodies the ’57 Precision Bass design.
The body of the bass guitar is made of two pieces of alder. The period of the instrument is emphasized by the NOS (New Old Stock) finish, which is a completely new authentic finish of the originals from the 50s and 60s without elements of artificial patina and signs of aging in the form of faded varnish. And then, you can't travel back in time! The one-piece maple neck (quartersawn cut) offers a ’57 “soft V” profile, the fingerboard is equipped with twenty Medium Vintage (47095) frets.
A hand-wound ’57 P Bass pickup provides a great bass response and is soldered to the volume and tone controls. The strings are attached to vintage-style tuners via a bone nut and a vintage four-saddle bridge. The stylish look is enhanced by a single-ply pickguard.
The bass guitar comes in a case with a strap and a certificate of authenticity.
