The Godin A12 Natural is a highly distinctive 12-string acoustic-electric guitar designed to combine the rich, shimmering character of a traditional 12-string with the comfort, feedback resistance and playability of Godin’s chambered-body design.

Built in Canada, the A12 features a two-chambered Silver Leaf Maple body with Canadian Laurentian Basswood wings, topped with a solid cedar top.

The chambered body is only around two inches deep, making the guitar significantly more comfortable to play than a traditional full-depth 12-string acoustic while also helping to reduce unwanted feedback during amplified performance.

The maple neck, Richlite fingerboard and 25.5" scale give the A12 a familiar, easy-playing feel, while the 1.9" nut width provides enough space for the 12-string layout without feeling excessively wide.

For amplification, the guitar uses a Custom Godin under-saddle transducer with onboard preamp, providing clear and balanced amplified sound with dedicated controls for volume, bass, mid and treble.

The result is a very practical professional 12-string for both live and studio use — offering the harmonic richness of a traditional 12-string with a much more manageable body and excellent resistance to feedback.
