About this listing
This Vintage 1992 Orville by Gibson Les Paul Standard plays and sounds great. It is in perfect working order. It was crafted at Gibson’s Terada factory in Japan. Despite some cosmetic wear, there are no structural cracks or breaks.Outfitted from the factory with USA Gibson pickups, this instrument has a unique pairing, with a '57 Classic PAF in the neck position, and an Alnico 498T in the bridge position. Each pickup yields a distinct sound, with a hot growl in the bridge position, and a fat, sweet sound at the neck.Lightweight at 8lbs 8oz, this Les Paul Standard has been professionally setup with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation. The neck profile has a slimmer 60s feel. It has a long neck tenon for great sustain. The frets have no wear. The fretboard is pristine. The gloss Wine Red finish shows buckle rash on back which cannot be seen on the attached pictures. There is also some pick scuffing on top, and a number of small dings on the body. The gloss lacquer finish on the instrument is smooth and clean. The original Orville by Gibson-branded gig bag is included. It will also ship in a Hard Shell Case.Make: Orville by GibsonModel: LPC Les Paul Standard Year: 1992Fretboard Material: RosewoodFretboard Radius: 12"Scale length: 24.75"Nut: 1 11/16”Weight: 8lbs 8ozFrets: Medium jumbo, no wearNeck Width at 12th fret: 2.06"Neck Thickness 1st fret: 830"Neck Thickness at 12th fret: 935"Case/bag: Includes hard caseMade in JapanWe can assure you that your instrument with be packed professionally with the utmost care, using high quality materials. If you have any questions please let us know.
