About this listing
kalamazoo Km21 A style mandolin FON number is 9217 or 9213. Prob a ’50 or ‘51 build yr .. awesome a style mandolins!*** see pic for the prior owner self made wood prop up brace wedged inside under the top by f hole on the bass side — due to slight - moderate top drop which s quite common for a acoustic type braced instrument this old. Could be worked on by a good luthier ofcourse. Still plays pretty well. Dead notes appear subtly further up neck But plays and sounds wonderful at first position and beyond some. so not quite just wall art only. But could use some repair to be a solid all the way up the neck pro player. neck may have very minor twist to it. Also common. But again it sounds wonderful and dry and could def be used to record some and enjoy
