The “Chet” - a custom Gibson Chet Atkinson SST in charcoal sparkle. A custom order by Jim (KIMO) West - hence the KIMO inlay on the 12th fret. The headstock, inlays and color are all custom upgrades.The guitar is in great condition with only small flaws - marks on the back of the headstock likely from a guitar stand or holder; and a small pucker on the plastic soundhole cover. Includes the padded gigbag shown.

Overview

The Gibson Chet Atkins SST featured a simulated soundhole and a plain headstock with no logo until 1993, when the soundhole was removed and the headstock took a more modern look with a star logo. The SST uses a chambered body with a Balsa center block and a bridge transducer with onboard electronics.
