About this listing
Guitar Collective is pleased to list this vintage 1966 Fender Telecaster Neck, complete with it's Kluson Double-line tuners and string tree. The neck stamp reads 3 OCT 66 B. The 3 represents the Telecaster/Esquire model. The truss rod works as designed and moves freely. The neck is straight and plays great, with some wear on the recently dressed vintage sized frets as shown in the pics. It measures .922 in. at 1st fret and 1.02 in. at 12th. The original tuners with screws and bushings (Typically around $500 a set), along with the string tree (missing it's bushing) are included. The headstock decal looks original with no over-spray. The nut has been replaced. There's no extra holes from changed tuners or added 2nd string tree.I've had this neck on a '66 parts Tele I put together 25 or so years ago. It played great with very low action up and down the neck with no buzzing or dead spots when I took it apart (On 8/23/26). Check back in on the shop's Reverb listings as there will be more mid-60s Tele parts posted shortly.Feel free to make an offer. As with all our listings, the initial asking price will be periodically reduced based on interest. This neck is sold As-Described and cannot be returned unless it arrives in a condition different from how it was described and photographed due to a shipping incident. In the unlikely event that happens, items must be returned in original, as-shipped condition with all original packaging. The neck will be well packed and shipped/fully insured via Reverb Safe Shipping with signature required. If the shipping ends up being less than the listed price, we will refund the difference. That is unlikely as the Reverb Safe Shipping insurance can be up to 3% of what the item sells for before the actual cost to ship is calculated.
