Ship from Texas, USA.Condition: Mint, all original accessories, Fender Japan warranty card, and starter guide. The Fender FSR Traditional II 70s is a sophisticated take on the iconic "Marcus Miller" era of the Jazz bass. It captures the aesthetic of the late 70s while delivering modern precision and playability. The largest musical store chain in Japan, Ishibashi, partnered up with Fender to create this special non-catalog line of instrument, only available to purchase from Ishibashi Music stores only. While many Ash-bodied 70s reissues, or the real deal, can be heavy (often 10 lbs), this specific bass was personally hand-selected for its balanced weight of only 9 lbs. It delivers that unmistakable Jazz Fusion punch without the shoulder strain boat anchor of heavy ash bodies. Even in its pure, passive form, without a preamp or high-mass bridge, the resonant Ash body produces that signature 70s snap and growl many know and love. Popularized by the one and only Marcus Miller himself. As always, Fender Japan delivers exceptional build quality. Following the 2020 rebranding, production at the Dyna Gakkio factory has been immaculate. The result is a level of fit and finish that easily surpass much higher-priced American counterparts.Specs:- Slim U maple neck, 1.5" nut width. Thickness at 1st fret is 0.81" / 20.5 mm.
