The first thing you notice is the finish. The Super Faded Aged Sonic Blue isn’t bright or flashy. it has that perfectly worn, smoky pastel look that feels like it has lived a life already. Combined with the subtle Journeyman Relic, it looks believable from every angle: lightly aged, played-in, but never overdone.Then you pick it up.At 3.61 kg, it has enough substance to feel solid while still resonating like crazy. Acoustically, the guitar is alive, open, woody and extremely responsive. The kind of Strat where chords bloom and single notes seem to hang in the air longer than expected.The neck is where this one really separates itself. The 1959 “D” profile has a slightly fuller shoulder than most modern Custom Shop builds, giving it a very natural, confident feel in the hand.
