Loaded with player-oriented features and iconic style, the Wolfgang Special Striped is a highly-responsive and huge-sounding instrument that was born to crank out some serious rock.Sporting some eye popping striped finishes, Red with Black and White Stripes, Black with Yellow Stripes and White with Black Stripes, black headstock and chrome hardware, the Wolfgang Special Striped features a basswood body with arched top, robust graphite-reinforced quartersawn maple neck - carved and rolled to EVH's exacting specifications and a speedy 12"-16" compound radius ebony fingerboard with 22 jumbo frets for facilitating energetic riffing and blazing leads. A heel-mount truss rod adjustment wheel also makes for quick and easy neck relief tweaks, a feature guitar techs everywhere will thank you for.The crystal clear custom-designed EVH Wolfgang Humbucking pickups are mounted directly to the body, supplying girth and sparkle, as well as near-endless sustain to power chords and melody lines.Every component of this guitar has been selected and positioned for high-speed playing. The low-friction volume knob lets you perform speedy violin-like volume swells with ease while the tone knob resists easy turning - avoiding unwanted tonal shifts as your picking hand flies furiously across the strings. The rock-solid EVH-branded Floyd Rose® locking tremolo bridge combines with the Floyd Rose locking nut to maintain precise tuning, no matter how insane your whammy-bar histrionics get. The EVH D-Tuna® retunes to Drop-D and back with strict accuracy at the mere flick of a finger, making this the only guitar you'll need onstage.Specifications:General- Series: Wolfgang® Striped- Orientation: Right-Hand- Color: Black and Yellow- Country Of Origin: MXNeck- Headstock: EVH® Wolfgang®- Neck Material: Quartersawn Maple- Neck Finish: Hand-Rubbed Satin Urethane- Neck Shape: Wolfgang® Backshape- Neck Construction: Bolt-On with Graphite Reinforcement- Neck Thickness: .805" at 3rd & .890" at 12th Fret- Fingerboard Radius: 12"-16" Compound Radius (304.8 mm to 406.4 mm)- Fingerboard Material: Ebony- Position Inlays: White Dot- Side Dots: White- Number of Frets: 22- Truss Rod: EVH®-Branded with Wheel- Truss Rod Nut: Heel-Mount Truss Rod Adjustment Wheel- String Nut: Floyd Rose® R2 Locking- Nut Width: 1.625" (41.3 mm)- Nut Material: Floyd Rose® R2 LockingBody- Body: Basswood- Body Finish: Satin Urethane- Body Shape: Wolfgang®- Body Material: BasswoodHardware- Bridge: EVH®-Branded Floyd Rose® Locking Tremolo with EVH® D-Tuna®- Bridge Mounting: 2-Point Modern- Tremolo Block: Brass- Pickup Covers: Black- Control Knobs: Black Knurled with White Indicator- Switch Tip: Black- Hardware Finish: Chrome- Tuning Machines: EVH®-Branded Gotoh®- String Trees: Floyd Rose® Retainer Bar- Strings: EVH® Nickel Plated Steel (.009-.042 Gauges)- Tremolo Arm: Floyd Rose® 1000 Series Locking- Strap Buttons: OversizedElectronics- Bridge Pickup: Direct Mount EVH® Wolfgang® Humbucking- Neck Pickup: Direct Mount EVH® Wolfgang® Humbucking- Pickup Configuration: HH- Controls: Volume (500K EVH® Bourns® Low Friction Pot) with Treble Bleed Circuit, Tone (250K EVH® Bourns® High Friction Pot)- Switching: 3-Position Toggle: Position 1.
