The A-111-3 VCO is a precision VCO in only 4hp, the design is based on Doepfer's A-111-2 precision VCO. The waveforms from this analog triangle core VCO have no glitching and the sine wave is very accurate. The frequency range is huge from 0.001Hz to 20kHz and it is 1V/octave accurate over 15 octaves. There is a switch to go between VCO and LFO modes, a tune knob which can adjust the frequency over 10, 2 or half an octave and the range is set by jumpers on the back, so you can make the tuning more precise or wider range.
The modulation inputs include 1V/octave pitch, exponential modulation, which has an attenuator for the CV, there is also a linear frequency modulation input. There is a pulse width modulation input and a manual pulse width adjustment. There is a sync input that can be switched between hard and soft sync with a jumper on the back. The VCO outputs saw, triangle and rectangle waves. The dual color LED on the panel indicates the oscillation speed and is useful in LFO mode.
