This Sonic Blue partcaster takes up the mythical colors of the first Stratocasters with a magnificent curly maple neck whose Abalone markers have blue reflections matching the color of the body.
It's equipped with a set of hand-wound QPickups, based on the specifications of the JM635 pickups on John Mayer's PRS Silver Sky, which followed Fender JM signature pickups. The characteristics of these pickups are normal winding for the bridge pickup, and slight under-winding for the neck neck and middle pickups.
