The fit and finish and playability just kills anything fender or any other manufacturer has made at this time period and price point! Rarely available on the used market, is this pre-JV Vintage Greco precision bass in classic candy apple red finish. All original bass, with a couple of minor dings and bumps in the finish apparent. One significant paint chip in the upper bout and some paint chip at the lower strap button. Aside from the minor finish blemishes, this bass is a real beauty! She plays amazingly well, with an arrow straight neck and low action up and down the board. The frets have a ton of life left, having shown only minor, minuscule fret wear. medium scale so it’s very comfortable to play. Fret life is still approximately 80 percent left! These fujigen crafted instruments would go on to become the fender JV series! Amazing fit and finish of this smooth neck and weighs approximately 3.98 kg. Ships with an era correct soft gig bag, and packed and fully secured for worldwide shipping!
