Near mint condition, just a few very minor dings that are hardly visible. Great neck, clean, woody sound, fun to play unplugged!
Early 1990's model Godin Acoustibass, deluxe version, based around the LR Baggs Acousticaster guitars from Godin at the time. It's the original incarnation of the A4 and A5 series; however, this bass has a double-cutaway body design, one-piece maple neck with ebony fingerboard, a one-piece mahogany body with a spruce top, and a 3-band LR Baggs preamp. The nut width is 1.5". What made these basses unique was the internal harp resonator- a series of metal pins inside the body that resonated with the instrument to give it a more complex, organic timbre. I'm a guitar player, and have held onto this for years even though I can't really play it, just because it's such a sweet instrument, but I've got to free up some cash, so out it goes...... I'm new to reverb, but please read my feedback on ebay, user name gcmadison and buy with confidence!
