SPL Channel One 2950 Mk2, made in Germany — in mint, like-new condition.
A superb tube channel strip from SPL (Sound Performance Lab), one of Germany’s most respected pro-audio makers. I bought it new and used it in my home studio only to record vocals with a Brauner Phanthera microphone. It has roughly 10 hours of use total. My music project ultimately didn’t happen, so I’m selling my gear.
This is a complete front-end for recording: a transistor/tube (12AX7) microphone preamp with up to +68 dB of gain, SPL’s de-esser, a Double-VCA-Drive compressor/limiter with noise gate, and a 3-band EQ with switchable FET saturation. Mic / line / instrument inputs, 48V phantom, phase reverse, high-pass filter, insert send/return, and a headphone monitor section. 19" / 2U. This is the standard Mk2 version.
Condition: Fully functional; every feature works perfectly. Cosmetically as-new except for one small scratch on the top of the case (shown in the photos). Front panel is mint. Non-smoking home studio, carefully handled.
