This 2006 Taylor GS7 Rosewood/Cedar Grand Symphony features Indian rosewood for the back and sides. A unique sound for Taylor that isn’t offer any longer with the X-bracing. In this case, a cedar top adds a mellow warmth to rosewood' big, bold tone. Very warm, rich, balanced sound instead of the typical Taylor brightness. It yields a deeper, more piano-like bass. A wider lower bout and higher, wider waist return ample volume and low-end sustain, in symphony with fuller mids and balanced highs.One owner, non-smoking household, and kept in proper temperature/humidity. Only played this guitar at home, so no road wear or abuse. In great shape for a 20 year old guitar.Taylor used a different uv-finish at the time that behaved more like nitro and is a very thin finish. There are some very minor/slight finish cracks along some of the binding that are nearly undetectable and are difficult to photograph, but you can feel them. Also some finish checking around the neck joint to the body which is photographed. This guitar is not in mint condition, so please request more detailed photos if this is an issue for you. I ultimately want you to be happy with your purchase.Happy to provide more photographs or video if requested along with sound samples. Because this guitar is no longer produced by Taylor, pricing is difficult. I am open to reasonable offers.
