About this listing
Semi-Hollow, Fully Alive“For me, the DGT Semi-Hollow has been a super versatile companion to my solidbody DGTs. The semi-hollow design has a bit warmer top end, a little less bottom than the solid body, and I can get more controlled feedback. I’m glad it’s officially joining the PRS lineup after a couple successful limited runs.”– David GrissomThe DGT Semi-Hollow is based off one of David Grissom’s personal Private Stock guitars. It carries all the core features players love about the PRS Core DGT, including the wood selection, 22 frets, 25” scale length, the signature DGT neck shape, and jumbo frets, while adding the unique character of a semi-hollow body.Equipped with custom-voiced DGT pickups and dual volume controls and push/pull tone control, this model delivers a versatile, vintage-inspired voice. The semi-hollow construction enhances resonance and dynamics, giving the instrument a lively, open tone.Born from more than 20 years of collaboration between PRS Guitars and David Grissom, the DGT (David Grissom Trem) remains a masterfully refined evolution of the PRS McCarty: a player’s guitar built for pure expression.Serial Number: 0426312Weight: 7.2 lbsSpecsBodyBody Construction Semi-Hollow Body with Single F-HoleTop Wood MapleBack Wood MahoganyTop Carve ViolinNeckNumber of Frets 22Fret Wire PRS Jumbo Fret WireWidth of Fret Crown .110"Height of Fret Crown .055"Scale Length 25"Neck Wood MahoganyNeck Construction One-PieceTruss Rod PRS Double-ActingNeck Shape DGTNeck Depth at the 1/2 Fret 27/32"Neck Depth at the 12 1/2 Fret 61/64"Neck Width at the Nut 1 21/32"Neck Width at the Body 2 7/32"Fretboard Wood RosewoodFretboard Radius 10"Fretboard Inlay Moons (Birds Optional)Headstock Logo Signature, DecalNeck/Body AssemblyNeck/Body Assembly Type SetFinishFinish Type High-Gloss NitroHardwareBridge PRS Patented Tremolo, Gen IITuners PRS Phase III Locking Tuners w/ Faux Bone ButtonsHardware Type NickelNut PRSTruss Rod Cover "DGT"ElectronicsTreble Pickup DGTBass Pickup DGTControls Two Volume Controls w/ Push/Pull Tone Control and 3-Way Toggle Pickup SwitchAdditional InfoStrings PRS Signature 11-49 (with a plain “G”)Tuning Standard (6 String): E, A, D, G, B, ECase Hardshell CaseOptions 10 Top with Hybrid Hardware
