About this listing
Absolutely gorgeous 2020 PRS 509 Wood Library in exceptional condition. This is a special-spec 509 featuring a beautiful highly figured maple top along with Brazilian rosewood fretboard and Brazilian rosewood headstock veneer. The guitar has been very well cared for and is exceptionally clean. After going over it carefully, I can find one small ding on the back, which I've tried to represent accurately. Otherwise, the guitar presents beautifully with little evidence of use.The figuring and color of the top are spectacular in person and change dramatically depending on the lighting and viewing angle. The Brazilian rosewood board, bird inlays, gold/hybrid hardware and natural wood details make this one particularly striking.Of course, the 509 is also one of PRS's most versatile Core models. Its 509 pickup system combines a 5-way selector with two individual coil-split switches, providing nine distinct pickup combinations ranging from full humbucker tones to convincing single-coil sounds.Highlights:2020 PRS 509 Wood LibraryBrazilian rosewood fretboardBrazilian rosewood headstock veneerHighly figured maple topPRS bird inlays509 pickup system5-way selectorIndividual coil-split mini togglesPRS tremoloPRS locking tunersGold/hybrid hardwareOriginal PRS hardshell caseOriginal paperwork / documentationExcellent overall conditionOnly notable cosmetic flaw I can find is one small ding on the backThis is a beautiful example of a Wood Library 509 and a configuration that doesn't come up for sale very often.I'm happy to provide additional detailed photos for a serious buyer.
