About this listing

Hercules DS510BB Trumpet/Cornet Stand | Piano Gallery, Idaho Falls The Hercules DS510BB is a compact, practical trumpet and cornet stand built around a velvet-covered instrument peg, swivel legs for flexible positioning, and a height adjustment lever that accommodates different sized instruments. The detachable velvet-covered peg separates from the base for effortless transport, storage, and display options, while swivel legs fold compactly and angle around other equipment easily for versatile setup in any configuration. Simple, reliable, and purpose-built for brass players who need a quality stand that protects their instrument and stays out of the way when it's not in use. Product Overview The DS510BB's velvet-covered instrument peg is the design detail that matters most for instrument protection — rather than bare plastic or metal contacting the inside of the trumpet or cornet bell, the velvet covering cushions the peg and prevents scratches, marks, or finish damage to the instrument's interior. The peg inserts into the bell and supports the instrument in an upright, stable position that keeps it off the floor and easily accessible during a performance or rehearsal. The height adjustment lever allows the peg's position to be raised or lowered to accommodate the specific dimensions of different trumpet and cornet models, ensuring a secure, properly supported fit regardless of which instrument is placed on the stand. The detachable peg is one of the DS510BB's most practically useful features for traveling musicians — separating the peg from the base allows both components to be packed more efficiently for transport, and the option to use the peg independently of the base opens up creative display and storage configurations that a non-detachable design wouldn't allow. Swivel legs provide the flexible positioning that Hercules stands are known for, angling around adjacent equipment, chairs, and stands in tight stage or rehearsal setups rather than requiring a fixed-width footprint that may not fit the available space. When the performance is over, the swivel legs fold compactly for fast, organized teardown.
