Here for sale we have a Fender American Original '60s Precision Bass in Olympic White finish. Made in the USA in 2019. This bass consists of an Alder body, a Maple neck, and a 20-fret Rosewood fingerboard. Other appointments include Vintage Tall frets, a 4-Saddle Vintage-Style bridge, Vintage Clay Dot inlays, Chrome Pickup/Bridge covers, and a single Pure Vintage '63 Split Single-Coil Precision Bass pickup. This pickup is wired to a master volume and a master tone control.The Maple neck plays well, with the 1963 "C" shape, providing a lively and articulate playing experience in all registers. The profile is certainly easy to get along with, offering ergonomic thumb positioning and comfortable reach across the neck. The Nitrocellulose Gloss finish to the rear provides a slick and smooth playing surface, ensuring that navigation of the 34" scale is a fast and breezy affair. The Rosewood fingerboard is pleasant under the fingers, and with its 9.5" radius delivers a suitably vintage-inspired, yet comfortable, playing experience across the register. The Pure Vintage '63 Split Single-Coil pickup installed in this guitar delivers fantastic fundamental bass tone right away. Deep, rumbling lows will fill out your mix, whilst punchy mids and a sparkly top end will ensure that you have plenty of snap and attack to provide a lively and percussive performance. The controls keep things simple; not intruding on the playing experience but still offering ample opportunities for tone shaping. White paint transfer is apparent to the very tip which could not be removed during our cleaning process. Light scuff marks are apparent to the rear face edge, near the paint transfer, with a small indentation to the front face edge.Neck: Overall very good condition. The rear of the neck demonstrates light scratching, most notably in line with the 7th/8th fret. These cannot be felt by the hand in the playing position.Body: Overall very good condition. All aspects of the body demonstrate light scratching, only visible under direct light, and mild scuff marks. Most notably black scuff marks to the lower bout edges, bass side waist and centre of the rear face.Condition of Frets:The frets demonstrate light signs of use, not affecting playability. There is considerable material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform.Current Set Up:Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (flat head driver) not included.Hardware: Fully functional and very good condition.
