CLASSIC API 2520 OP AMPS Celebrated for their linear response and low distortion, API's classic 2520 op amps provide a clean signal path that preserves every detail of your sound. In "New" (feed-forward) mode, the signal is taken directly from the input for faster transient response. This dual-mode design provides maximum flexibility for different genres and instruments. MIX/BLEND CIRCUIT FOR PARALLEL COMPRESSION The innovative Mix/Blend Circuit provides detailed control over the compressed and uncompressed signal blend. When engaged, you can choose from two modes. Cross mode (X) automatically balances the dry and processed signals as you adjust the Mix knob. In Parallel mode (II), the Mix knob blends the compressed signal with a fixed dry signal. This flexible circuit lets you enhance mix depth and maintain natural dynamics simultaneously. EXPANDED THRESHOLD OPTIONS The API 2500+ introduces an expanded variable threshold range of -20 to +20 dB.
