Vintage 1957 Passive Program Equalizer.
SERIAL NUMBER 1
Born October 9, 1957 in Little Neck, NY
The original king of passive program EQ’s built for Department of Commerce Civil Aeronautics Administration. This is the original mil-spec build, later copied by UTC, Pultec, Altec, Cinema Engineering etc. proudly wearing badge plate SERIAL #1. Incredibly Rare!!
Absolutely mint condition. Internal wiring looks brand new, sequential serial Burnell & Co. transformers, and two of the most satisfying giant Daven knobs I’ve ever felt!
This piece of audio history will be a standout in your rack. Pairs great with a Federal Compressor, Collins 26W and the like.
Here is your opportunity to own Serial #1!
