This Gibson Les Paul Signature was made in the USA in 1974. It has a rare factory black finish - we have never seen another in this color. The person we bought it from indicated that it was a guitar that a Gibson factory employee made for himself - but we have no documentation. When we obtained it there were non original tuners on it, with the original in the case so we reinstalled the tuners. Also, the TP-6 tailpiece is a later 70's part so must have been changed. In addition to the black finish the guitar has gold hardware and a 'custom made' plaque which appears to be original. It has a changed brass nut and weighs 8 lbs 12 oz. The guitar has been pro-setup in our store and it is in excellent playing condition. It comes with the original case.
