Sabian 14" Stratus Alto Stax: Instant High-Velocity Accents

The Sabian 14" Stratus Alto Stax is a factory-curated pairing designed for drummers who need a pre-tuned, high-impact effect that cuts through the densest musical textures. By combining the dark, aero-designed Stratus Zero with the aggressive, perforated AA Holy China, Sabian has created a stack that delivers a violent burst of white noise with a surgical, staccato decay.

The Perfect Hybrid: Stratus Zero & AA Holy China

This "Alto" configuration leverages the unique strengths of two very different cymbals to create a unified, complex voice:

• 14" Stratus Zero (Top): Provides a dark, trashy foundation with added high-frequency "sizzle" from its aero-ventilation design. Its fast response ensures the stack speaks the micro-second it is struck.
• 14" AA Holy China (Bottom): Featuring its signature 36-hole pattern and high-profile raw bell, the Holy China adds massive volume, a "shattering glass" high-end, and incredible structural rigidity.
• Synergetic Design: The two cymbals nest perfectly together, creating a dry, "gated" sound that mimics the digital samples used in modern electronic, gospel, and metal productions.

Precision Performance & "White Noise" Burst

Engineered for maximum presence with minimal sustain:

• Immediate Impact: Tuned specifically to produce an attention-grabbing "bark" that instantly commands the listener's focus.
• Short, Staccato Decay: The contact between the two cymbals naturally chokes the sustain, resulting in a quick burst of white noise that clears the mix immediately—leaving room for your next fill or groove.
• Professional B20 Bronze: Crafted from high-quality B20 alloy, the Alto Stax offers a level of musical complexity and durability that budget "sheet-metal" stacks cannot match.
