Overview

Along with the FG-140 and FG-180, the Yamaha FG-300 was one of the original "red label" six-string jumbo acoustics built in Japan starting in 1969. Specimens from 1972 - 1974 can be identified by a green label, while models between 1974 and 1977 had a black label.
