Up for grabs is this very rare Rickenbacker 4003 with checkerboard binding in a classy satin finish throughout. This bass combines the best of several classic Ric attributes for a very unique package. It still maintains the high-gain pickup pair with a push-pull knob for switching between modern and vintage voicing, as well as the mono or stereo Ric-o-sound output options. The satin finished body looks very cool in person, but the satin neck is the star of the show in my opinion. The comfortable D neck shape is already nice, but the satin finish gives it an extra level of speed and playability. The checkerboard binding sets this one apart from the regular 4003 models, from what I can find, only 30 Mapleglo versions were made.This one is in fantastic condition with no significant wear to note. There's a couple light marks on the pick guard, but no major scratches, dings or dents, nothing major I can find. Original Rickenbacker hard case along with the factory bridge pickup cover are included.This is listed in multiple places, it may be removed if it sells elsewhere.
