The mahogany body features a maple top with a quilted maple veneer, whilst the glued, multi-piece maple neck with a Wide Thin profile offers ideal conditions for precise playing and low tunings thanks to an extended 26.5-inch scale length, a flat 20-inch fingerboard radius and 24 frets. Sound is delivered by the two Seymour Duncan Mark Holcomb ‘Scourge’ and ‘Scarlet’ humbuckers, which are controlled via a 3-way blade switch and volume and push/pull tone controls. A solid PRS Plate Style string-through bridge, black hardware and PRS-designed tuners complete the specification, which is designed for high tuning stability and direct response, whilst a heavy-gauge .010–.052 string set provides the ideal conditions for low tunings straight from the factory.
