Overview
The Neumann BCM 705 is the company's first dynamic microphone, a studio-grade mic suitable for drums and amplifiers as well as broadcast and voiceover applications. Characterized by a solid bass response and crystal clear high-frequency response, the BCM 705 makes for a superb bass drum microphone in particular where you want a condenser-like sound without worrying about having one of your more expensive mics exposed to tons of SPL and wind blasts. The BCM 705's head basket makes use of an integral pop filter as in the BCM 104 and KMS 104 microphones, meaning you can work up close without worrying about plosives.
