Electric Soul presents a 2018 Gibson Les Paul Classic. This is a rare version with two P-90 pickups and a beautiful Pelham Blue finish with a honey-colored back.This model is a tribute to the early days of the Les Paul and one of Gibson’s most interesting LP models in recent years. It is a great alternative to the Custom Shop R6, sharing many features such as a non-weight-relieved body and an ABR-style bridge.The guitar also includes some modern features. It has a fast and comfortable 60’s Slim Taper neck, ideal for players who like technical and precise playing. The neck is slimmer than on traditional Les Pauls, making it comfortable even for players who normally do not like Gibson necks. It is also fitted with smooth and reliable Grover tuners.The heart of the guitar is its pair of P-90 pickups. These classic single-coil pickups sit somewhere between a Fender-style single coil and a traditional Gibson humbucker. They offer a unique sound that is quite different from later Gibson models. Many players consider P-90s their favorite pickup type. Having a guitar with this character can be very useful, as it excels in situations where other guitars cannot deliver the same sound.The guitar is in excellent condition. There are only a few small surface scratches. Technically, everything works perfectly, and the frets are in great shape. One potentiometer has been replaced with a CTS unit, matching the original specification. This model originally came with black plastics, but this guitar has cream-colored parts installed, which match the finish much better. The original black parts are included.The original hard case and all paperwork are included.This version is no longer in production, and you will not find a new one for sale.
