RARE 1998 Gibson EC-10 Standard Acoustic Electric thin, lightweight (only 2kg or 4.5 pounds) jumbo stage guitar. This was a limited model made only for 1997-1998. With X bracing on a solid spruce top and solid maple sides, the guitar received a laminated arched maple back to improve strength and projection, but also to reduce weight. The guitar is a thin, lightweight Jumbo with built in Gibson/Fishman electrics. It was designed to be toured and reduce fatigue for the player. This particular guitar was the house acoustic in a major London studio where it was used to write and record. It also featured in music videos and on social media for artists performing Acoustic versions of their songs. Guitar has normal marks and play wear expected of a 27 year old instruments.These models are rarely found and in high demand for their unique features.Worldwide shipping to any country.
