Up for sale is this authentic 1968 Fender Jazz Bass. A true "Player's Grade" instrument with incredible mojo and a monstrous tone. Perfect for a musician looking for that genuine late-60s vintage growl without paying full collector prices. The bass has been modified over the years, as shown in the pictures.Specs & Condition:Neck & Setup: The bass just came back from a professional luthier and the verdict is great: the neck is straight, healthy, and plays like a dream. The setup is optimized with a very comfortable low action (under 2mm / 5/64"). The truss rod works but is currently maxed out, so the luthier advises against tightening it further. As it sits, the bass is perfectly stable, well-set, and ready to gig.Electronics: Upgraded with 1980s DiMarzio pickups.
