Here's an alien. Or a dream come true for those who've been looking for an original CC#42 ! You know that only 25 guitars were made for the CC#42 batch. Apart of 5 Artist Proof guitars. They all sold instantly. These guitars are among the most sought after, because they're close to perfection. They're impossible to find out. Let's be clear in order to avoid confusions : it isn't one of these 30 guitars !
According to Gibson's rep, this concrete guitar "may have been a color or aging sample from the CC42 run, but was never serialized as such." Its serial number is CME049, initials for Chicago Music Exchange.
It has the same specs as CC#42. Neck's 42mm at 1st fret and 50mm at 12th. It sounds and feels GREAT.
Last but not least, its woods are on top. It comes with everything from factory (shown in pics, including paperwork, COA, CME Inspection Card and OHSC, plus a print copy of an email from CME Sales Manager). Case is also in excellent+ condition. Weight : only 3,56 Kg on my scale !
