**This display is an LED display, it's backlight is NOT the same as the old CCFL one inside your mixer. the LED backlight is powered differently, that means it "connects" Plug N Play differently. You will ASK for instructions how to do this**

Custom Japanese made LED graphic display for a Tascam DM-3200.
Black/White, Blue/White graphics available.
NO soldering is required !
These displays have a modern LED backlight, a huge improvement over the ccfl ( Cold Cathod Fluorescent Lamp ) backlit type used by tascam originally and still being sold as a replacement.
This LED display should be judged as an upgrade not simply a replacement.
Display will arrive ready to plug N play.
Bolt it in, plug it in, switch it on. Simple.
The original ribbon used to connect the old display, connects to the new display in the same way, this is important as it simplifies the whole install process.
This is possible because the correct RA LIF connector is attached to the display before it ships. The pitch of the LIF connector on the new graphic matches the pitch of the FFC ribbon on the DM-3200.
To connect up, you will simply, disconnect the ribbon from the old display, reconnect it to the new display. Finally, connect up the backlight, this is also on a connector leaving it plug N play as well. I'll provide you with visual instructions of a new display connected up for ref. No skills are required to install this graphic.
The backlight connections and circuits to fine tune the contrast are also incorporated within.
