For sale is a very rare vintage Fender Stratocaster STS-55M from 1990, made at Fujigen Japan, in reliced but good condition. Serial number N021971
To the best of my knowledge, this Fender was only distributed in Japan, so is a very rare guitar in Europe. This is a rare short scale 61cm (Fender Jaguar, Bronco, modern Mustang, Brian May's Red Special) Fender Strat. It is perfectly suited for players with a small hand. The fingerboard has been scalloped, requiring less pressure and easier to play. It is made from solid Alder wood and now has a built in Maxon belt pack wireless stage transmitters. I don't have a receiver, but the transmitter lights up when a battery is installed, so I expect it works well. A very comfortable weight at 3Kgs.
It has a bone nut, Gotoh tuners, Gotoh pickups, Fender Japan tremolo. This is no toy guitar, and delivers plenty of quality Fender tone. These rare Fenders can sell for quite a lot. I have priced mine according to it cosmetic and modified condition. It plays and sound great!
Neck is straight, fret are very good, Low Playing Easy Action. The guitar has new strings and has been given a professional setup and is intonated. A gig bag is included.
