------------------------------
Lopringi ukuleles are crafted in Florida, USA, by string instrument maker Argastino Lopringi. Mr. Lopringi has worked on the design and consulting of string instruments for companies such as Martin and Fender, and has trained many string instrument makers. He continues to produce masterpieces with his meticulous attention to materials and design. His ukuleles are also well-known as the favorite instruments of famous artists such as Herb Ohta. He currently works with his daughter, Donna Lopringi. This particular instrument is a used soprano model "3K-S" with a mother-of-pearl inlay on the top. It features a Hawaiian koa body, mahogany neck, ebony fingerboard and bridge, friction tuners, and a 14-fret joint. It has a gorgeous and luxurious look. There are some scuffs to the paint due to age, and one faint touch-up on the back that is only visible when held up to the light, but there is no major damage such as cracks in the wood. Also, the saddle has been sanded down to the bare minimum to adjust the string height. Lopringi ukuleles are becoming increasingly rare in Japan these days, so please consider this one. A hard case is included.
