Sony PCM 7040 DAT Player / Recorder
tested, playing & recording working perfectly
New Head Drum!
German Broadcast Unit (Bayerischer Rundfunk).
First technical check 2001 (sticker on backside), then again tested in 2007 (see original „Prüffahne“ by in-house measuring tech) - probably in relation with Installation of new head drum. From this point on, it was used in the training department, but hardly used there, as DAT technology was no longer relevant at that time.
So, this machine was virtually never used for actual training purposes and spent its life safely stored.
Fantastic opportunity to catch kind of brand-new DAT Player!
Original broadcast power chord included.
The small round inventory stickers with the year numbers could be removed easily without leaving any residue if necessary.
