The UDO Audio Super Gemini is a 20-voice polyphonic, bi-timbral analog-hybrid powerhouse, here in the striking white finish. Merging the classical with the cutting edge, the Super Gemini sports two FPGA-based algorithmic oscillators, two analog SSI-based VCFs, two VCAs, dual envelopes, dual LFOs, and a comprehensive modulation matrix to attain virtually any sound you can imagine. As the second synth in the "Super" series, it represents a quantum leap in UDO's technology, building on the acclaimed rich sound pioneered by George Hearn and the Super 6 — combining dual Super 6-style engines with many improvements. Adopting a true stereo binaural signal path with dual FPGAs and twin effects processors, it aims (and mostly succeeds) at standing shoulder to shoulder with synth giants like the Roland Jupiter-8 and the Yamaha CS-80.

• True Stereo Binaural Signal Path Adopting a true stereo signal path, the instrument's 20 voices are twinned to form 10 stereo "super" voices — the left and right channels, and each of your ears, are assigned a complete synthesizer voice. This empowers UDO's warm analog tone and enables extremely dynamic spatial sounds, from subtle to extreme stereo movement.
• FPGA Digital Oscillators Two spectrally rich FPGA-based hardware oscillators feature classic analog waveforms decorated with expansive tonal features such as wave morphing, cross/ring modulation, and bi-directional sync. The first oscillator has a "super mode" and up to 64 user-definable waveforms, while the second offers two sub-oscillator options and hard sync — all fed into an all-analog signal path.
• SSI-Based Analog Filters & VCAs The Super Gemini sports SSI-style analog VCFs and VCAs for an unmistakably warm, organic sound — a self-resonant 4-pole low-pass filter with two levels of overdrive, plus a 1-pole high-pass filter (fixed or linked to the low-pass for a bandpass response), and VCAs with selectable velocity sensitivity.
