Designed to complement Yamaha's legendary DX-series synthesizers, it features a compact desktop footprint, MIDI In/Out/Thru ports, and a built-in cassette interface for saving data.Core Features and WorkflowCapacity & Channels: Supports all 16 MIDI channels simultaneously, allowing you to record rich, multi-instrument polyphonic data (velocity, aftertouch, and system exclusive included).Memory: Holds roughly 6,000 to 8,000 notes.Track Bouncing: It is fundamentally a 2-track sequencer, but you can overdub, exchange, and merge data from one track to another to build complex arrangements.Editing Jobs: Editing is done using a menu of numbered "Jobs." Functions include quantizing, transposing, inserting/deleting bars, and deleting specific MIDI channels.Data Storage: Uses standard cassette tapes (via Tape In/Out jacks) to save compositions before turning the unit off.
