About this listing
Hi, This is a beautiful, maple cutaway 612 'Grand Concert' purchased from Nashville's Rock Block in 1995. It has the factory-installed Fishman 'Natural' pickup, which has no onboard controls. It has been babied; the only issue is a very small crack in the top below the bridge, as pictured- I could barely find/feel it. This has been stable for quite some time but probably should be glued. Highly figured, Pacific Northwest maple back and sides, Sitka spruce top, mother of pearl fretboard leaf pattern, abalone rosette and pegs, gold Grover machines, ebony headstock and fretboard. Note that the gorgeous, quilted back is especially beautiful. The original Taylor case is immaculate. The 'Small Dog' brand case cover w/ shoulder strap is also wonderful. This is my guitar. Why am I selling? As a semi-pro woodwindist, shamefully, I barely play it, and when I do, as a strummer, I don't do this fine, fingerstyle instrument justice. Thanks for looking! I'd appreciate if only legitimately interested folks contacted me. Reasonable offers will be considered.
